Since I teach both Biology and Chemistry, I have separated the courses into two different pages within the blog. You will find video content, notes and attachments on the HOME page and TEKS Standard correlations, assignments or instructions on the SUBJECT AREA pages. So be sure to check both!

Wed, 11-28-12: BIOLOGY

We are beginning our unit on PHOTOSYNTHESIS and CELLULAR RESPIRATION.  Please take a look at our BIOLOGY PAGE to review the Texas TEKS objectives for this unit.

ASSIGNMENTS:

#1 - Check out this video!  "Photosynthesis Vs Respiration"



#2 - Please click on the link to read a short passage on photosynthesis.  You will be using this information to answer questions in your Adaptive Curriculum lab.

#3 - Go to the Adaptive Curriculum Website (www.AdaptiveCurriculum.com) and login using your username and password as we have done previously in class. (if you have forgotten yours, please email me for the credentials).  Please complete your online lab, "Photosynthesis and Respiration".  There is a short question and answer session at the end of the video. Adaptive Curriculum will inform me of your progress on the assignment.

Gotta LOVE Science!



This video PROVES without a doubt that there are a LOT of "geeks and peeps" who really dig science!  Very cool...
